Privacy policy
The privacy policy of the Human Resources Monitoring and Development Office of the Public Enterprise (hereinafter – the Office) was prepared in accordance with the 2016 April 27 Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons in the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and which repeals Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (hereinafter – GDPR) and the personal data laws of the Republic of Lithuania provisions of the protection law. When processing personal data, we follow the requirements of the Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Lithuania, the Law on Electronic Communications of the Republic of Lithuania, other related legal acts and the instructions of the controlling authorities.
This privacy policy of the Office (hereinafter – the Policy) is intended to inform how and under which rules the Office processes the user’s personal data. In the policy, we clearly and transparently present the principles of information collection and use applied on this website.
We apply this Policy when you visit the Bureau’s website, register for training, purchase other services, fill out registration forms, and subscribe to newsletters. This Policy does not apply when you browse other companies’ websites or use third-party services when you are redirected from the Bureau’s website (network).
TERMS
1. Terms used in this Policy:
1.1. Personal data means any information about a natural person that is or can be directly or indirectly identified by an identifier, such as name, location data and Internet identifier, or by one or more of that natural person’s physical, physiological, genetic, signs of mental, economic, cultural or social identity.
1.2. Data subject – a natural person whose personal data is processed in the Office.
PURPOSE OF PERSONAL DATA COLLECTION
2. Personal data are processed in the Office for the purposes of training organization and internal administration. Personal data may also be processed to ensure the security of the Office’s assets, information, employees, students and other third parties, to prevent, control and detect illegal acts and to ensure the effective investigation of such cases (for example, video surveillance).
PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED
3. The office collects the following personal data of data subjects:
3.1. basic personal data, such as name, phone number, e-mail postal address, address;
3.2. business activity data, such as the workplace (workplaces) and its contact details, duties, performed functions;
3.3. documents confirming qualifications and experience, such as diplomas, qualification certificates, certificates, extracts from the history of work or educational activities, grades, etc.;
3.4. data about children;
3.5. financial data, such as account number, amount of salary and other benefits, data on scholarships, pension accumulation;
3.6. image and other data entering the surveillance camera;
3.7. data about the participants of the training organized by the Office, such as name, contact information (e-mail, telephone), address, workplace;
3.8. data about students, exam or credit evaluations, other study achievements;
3.9. data on scientific activities, participation of individuals in projects, conferences, etc.
4. The data that the Office is obliged to collect by the valid legal acts are also collected.
PRINCIPLES OF PERSONAL DATA MANAGEMENT
5. The office processes personal data in accordance with the following principles:
5.1. The Office processes personal data in legal, fair and transparent ways that are necessary for the operation of the Office;
5.2. The office, taking into account the specifics of its activity, stores and uses personal data according to clearly defined purposes;
5.3. Upon noticing that the personal data stored and processed by the Office require clarification, corrections, updates, the Office must make the appropriate changes;
5.4. The Office takes care to ensure adequate security of personal data, including protection against unauthorized or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction or damage.
DATA SUBJECT RIGHTS RELATED TO PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION
6. With the exception of exceptions provided for in legal acts, the data subject has the right to:
6.1. get acquainted with the data collected and stored by the Office about him and the ways in which they are processed;
6.2. demand that the data processed by the Office about him be corrected if they are inaccurate or misleading;
6.3. request that personal data be updated if it is out of date;
6.4. supplement personal data processed by the Office;
6.5. do not consent to the processing of non-mandatory personal data.
